 We love to show our guests for example the unearthly beautiful bay of Saline island. This authentic Caribbean island is a real surprise for everybody who likes turquoize waters, silence, uninhabited dream islands and nature. Last week we were there again. This time with my sister and her family. We enjoyed a lovely day of relaxing, snorkeling and hiking on this special pearl in paradise

This authentic Caribbean island is typified by a large salt pond, mangroves, and an ancient lime kiln, where bricks where made out of coral. You can climb the rockformation norht of the island which is covered with all kinds of cactus. When you are lucky they welcome you with their colorful flowers. From the top of the rocks, you have a wonderful view on the salt pond, the evergreen mangroves and the turquoize bay.

The family owning the place got it in their possesion by winning a pokergame. Set 1.5 kilometers off the south coast of Carriacaou, you will find evergreen mangroves and colorful flowers.  The member of the family living here died already decades ago and his grave is found on the island. He didn’t want to leave the island, even after his death. The family left the island as it was and put it for sale recently.
