Land in sight after a full day at Sea

Land in sight after a full day at Sea (picture by Captain Deep)

Don’t get me wrong. It’s so nice to be the whole day at sea. The wind in your hair and in the sails 🙂 Pushing us where ever we like to go. The sun in your face and once in a while a splash of water going over the boat to make us feel the speed of the boat (Catamaran Yemaya). But having land in sight after a full day at Sea is good too. The anchor hitting the sandy bottom. A last swim of the day. In the boat kitchen the dinner is being  made. Rum punch on the deck. A Sun downer. And as the lights on the deck turn on you have a fantastic meal. Music, the sounds of the waves on the beach, peace!

The island is Palm Island. See more of this island (after the anchor is down ;-)) in this post: /sailing-around-palm-island/
